Rock the Opera (English)

The symphonic rock specialist, conductor Friedemann Riehle brought a milestone in Rock history with the greatest arrangements. Riehle works on authentic and powerful rock orchestrations since 2001. He brings the orchestra to a real dialog with the rock instruments and creates that way a spectacular sound and energy. The Prague Philharmonic Orchestra combines the atmosphere and power of the original songs with a unique interpretation and the grand sound of an orchestra of  rock groups like: Queen, Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, Pink Floyd, AC/DC, U2.

Three remarkable female voices provide the connection between two seemingly incompatible worlds. Together with the Prague Philharmonic Orchestra and drummer František Hönig, who performed with Frank Zappa, they lead the audience into a world of music in which everything is possible.

“I simply brought the orchestra back to its historical role, performing songs loved by the audience”, comment the conductor Friedemann Riehle.
