Born as an author under the prestigious blessing of Pierre Delanoë.
The Sacem awarded him the Grand Prix in 2009 and honoured him the following year with the title of Definitive Member as well as the Société des Auteurs et Compositeurs Dramatiques [SACD] [Society of Dramatic Authors and Composers] in France.
Eclectic, Thierry first made a name for himself on French radios during the morning shows of RFM, NRJ, RMC, RTL and Europe 1, writing sketches and parodies for numerous comedians including Laurent Gerra, Pascal Brunner, Nicolas Canteloup, Didier Gustin, Chantal Gallia and Sandrine Alexi.
Then on French TVs where he worked for the shows of Michel Drucker, Philippe Bouvard, Patrick Sébastien, Karl Zéro, les Guignols de l’Info.
At the same time his songs ended up on the albums of Johnny Hallyday, Gilbert Bécaud, Mariah Carey and Florent Pagny, Patrick Bruel, Patricia Kaas, Mélanie C (Spice Girls), Julie Zenatti, Natasha St-Pier, Zaz, Gilbert Montagné, Lorie, Angun, as well as Ginette Reno, Rika Zaraï, Herbert Léonard and Dick Rivers.
Without forgetting the children’s songs that were very successful such as Pinocchio (EMI) sold 500’000 copies, Titi et Grosminet (Sony) sold 450’000 copies, Titou le Lapinou (album produced by Warner) sold 480’000 copies and Appel Bear (Universal) sold 300’000 copies.
Thierry SFORZA has also written songs for the candidates of the reality TV such as Loft Story with the song M comme je t’aime interpreted by Loana (650’000 copies), Star Academy for Jennifer, Nolwenn Leroy, as well as Bachelor and Temptation Island.
Finally Thierry SFORZA moves towards musicals.
