The future of our society is created every day and it is up to the artists to do so ; from their genius will depend the quality of our future and society. Maestro Pavarotti contributed in this creation during his lifetime, later his teaching was given to several hundred other talented young people, participating themselves in creating a better world.
In partnership with the Foundation and through this recital, we are offering opportunities and visibility to the young up-and-comers of opera.
Fondazione Luciano Pavarotti
The Luciano Pavarotti Foundation is a non-profit organization that perpetuates the human and artistic legacy of Maestro Pavarotti by supporting young, talented opera singers and organising events all over the world.
As a United Nations Messenger of Peace, Maestro Pavarotti used opera as a healing force for millions of young people. His sense of duty – to share passion and nurture talent – lives on as the Foundation help young singers to shape their future.

Perhaps not many people know that Maestro Pavarotti gave free singing lessons to many students he considered promising. Since more than a decade the foundation is supporting young talents also trying to make the course of study and training accessible to everybody.
60th Anniversary of Luciano Pavarotti’s first interpretation of Rodolfo
Pavarotti’s career kicked off when he was cast as Rodolfo in Puccini’s La Boheme, in a small regional Italian opera house – the Teatro Municipale, Reggio Emilia. He made his Royal Opera House debut in the same role in 1963 when he stood in for Giuseppe Di Stefano.
